The University of Pittsburgh women’s basketball team has increased depth inside with the addition of DePaul graduate transfer Brandi Harvey-Carr.
A 6-foot-4 center, Harvey-Carr spent the last four years playing for the Blue Demons and appeared in 102 career games, including all 36 as a redshirt freshman.
This past season, Harvey-Carr helped DePaul reach the Sweet 16 by playing in 28 games. The Blue Demons finished the season ranked 17th nationally.
“We are extremely excited that Brandi will be a Pitt Panthers for the 2016-17 season,” head coach Suzie McConnell-Serio said. “She has played for a tremendous coach in Doug Bruno and comes from a winning program. Brandi brings a great deal of experience and her size, athleticism and versatility will help us in the post position.”
